All Purpose Seasoning Mix
All great recipes begin with a great seasoning mix. and I just happen to have the perfect multi-purpose mix that can be used in almost any recipe.
This seasoning is the base for many different flavour profiles and it is not too salty.
I started experimenting with dry seasonings when I found out how unhealthy the culprit, MSG (momosodium glutimate) was. In most mixes you'd get in the supermarket, they are either MSG based, salty, too spicy or it's just too bland.
Fortunately, this mix lasts a long time, is really flavourful and gives you that extra touch of Craibbean flavour without having to empty you spice rack or pantry!
Ingredients

1/2 Cup Salt

1/4 Cup Sugar

1/4 Cup Garlic Powder

1/4 Cup Onion Powder

1/4 Cup Powdered Jerk Seasoning (optional)

1/4 Cup Paprika

2 Tbsp Ginger Powder

2 Tbsp Italian Seasoning

2 Tbsp Lemon Pepper

2 Tbsp Cayenne Pepper

1 Tbsp White Pepper

1 Tbsp Cinnamon

1 Tbsp All Spice
-
1/2 Tbsp Celery Powder
Directions
In a medium bowl, combine all spices and mix well.
Store in an air-tight container and use to season any dish.
Especially great on meat, fish and poultry.
